These traditional wooden boats are clinker built with planks.  This method of construction consists of fastening wooden planks together with copper rivets.  The planks overlap like tiles on a roof.  This is a very old technique used by the Romans as well as by the Scandinavians.  The planks of our boats are glued and fastened with copper rivets which give stiffness to the boat and make it watertight. 

We offer 3 types of clinker row boats : A tender boat measuring 2.45 meters ,a rowing boat with a hull like the dinghy 12 and a rowboat measuring 4.5 meters.  All models are offered in two types of wood: Larch and Sapelli Mahogany.  These boats are delivered with a pair of oars and stainless steel rowlocks.
